After
such a dramatic weather day in Auckland today we were incredibly
lucky to have
yet another lovely evening at Ambury Park tonight. As I walked
back having
collected a couple of controls, admiring the beautiful night I
felt almost
guilty that we were having a lovely time while others in the
west of Auckland
were spending the night in temporary housing after damage to
their homes from
the tornado. I do hope none of you suffered any injury or damage
to your home.
Our thanks to Al and
Sonja, again first time
setters, ably guided by Imogene, for tonight’s great courses
with a variety of
leg lengths and directions to keep us all on our toes. I
certainly got caught
out on one leg amongst the rocks! Course 1A was even treated to
a run with
Father Christmas at the Santa parade – we don’t usually manage
to throw in such
entertainment along your way!
Next week
SummerNav is again on THURSDAY, 13th December on the

final one for
the year being the following Thursday, 20th.
