36th SummerNav Point England Reserve Event: 2 2023-11-01

After the storms of the previous days it was great to strike another fine night, if a little windy, for a quick dash around the very flat Pt England map. We were very grateful to Pt England School for welcoming us onto their campus, The school has had a major rebuild since this part of the map was last used, at least 10 years ago so this was a brand new piece of map.

Our apologies to those on course 2 that were affected in their route choice by the control number 10 obscuring the bridge. Definitely my bad. I am not sure how it happened – I suspect a late change that was made to that course meant the number moved after the checking had been done. You most certainly were not meant to have to ford the stream and crash through the green!!

Next week we shift to Tuesday, at the Auckland Domain, starting from the area where the band stand is, off The Crescent.  See you there!
